With Dr. Conrad Murray officially charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, the Los Angeles coroner’s office has released the 51-page autopsy report. According to the report, the pop singer’s death is listed as a homicide.
Jackson is said to have died from “acute propofol intoxication.” The amount of propofol listed on the toxicology exam were similar to those found during anesthesia for major surgery. Murray has maintained that he administered the powerful drug to help Jackson sleep.

According to the autopsy, Jackson’s hair was “sparse” and attached to a wig. In addition, his hairline, eyebrows and the border of his eyelids were tattooed and there was a pink tattoo on his lips. He weighed 136 pounds at the time of his death and had several broken ribs, which were apparently the result of efforts to revive him. Jackson’s skin had “patches of light and dark pigmented areas.”
