The Milwaukee Music Festival Promises To Create an Unforgettable Music Experience

Home to the largest music festival in the world, Milwaukee intends to keep their love for music at the forefront with the two-day Milwaukee Music Festival. 

April 8, 2013 – Home to the largest music festival in the world, Milwaukee intends to keep their love for music at the forefront with the inaugural Milwaukee Music Festival. The mission of the Milwaukee Music Festival is to put some of Milwaukee’s BEST and some of its finest rising and undiscovered talent onto the main stage. Milwaukee is a hub for music and for most artists out of brew city, they never have the opportunity to be heard. With the success of Milwaukee’s hit songwriter Rico Love, Core DJ’s CEO Tony Neal and Singer/Actor Jacob Latimore the Milwaukee Music Festival plans to use its platform to catapult more artists from Milwaukee onto the national stage.

Looking to create an opportunity for Milwaukee talent, Milwaukee Music Festival founder Edward Griffin goes on to explain why there is a major need for this festival.

“Outside of being a lover of all music and previously working at V100.7 for about 8 years I realized that there is so much talent in Milwaukee and on any given night you will find some of the best talent in the city performing at a local venue. Although it’s great to see everyone out performing, fans never have the opportunity to see Milwaukee’s best talent on one stage; that’s a goal what we look to achieve with the Milwaukee Music Festival. Not only do we want to create a platform for artists to be on a national stage we want to create a music event that the whole family can enjoy — free”

The Milwaukee Music Festival will take place in 2 days — August 24 & 25th 2013 with the location to be announced. The Milwaukee Music Festival looks to provide the backdrop and the platform for the music industry’s hottest stars, Milwaukee’s emerging talent and local favorites to create an unforgettable live music experience.
