Kelly Rowland has been bitten by the acting bug.  The “Motivation” singer has been tapped to star in a pilot for BET.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Destiny’s Child diva will play Dylan, a struggling L.A.-based relationship blogger who lives with her best friend Cherise (Gabrielle Dennis, “The Game”) and roommate Brooke (Melanie Liburd, “Strike Back”), in the tentatively-titled series “What Would Dylan Do.”

Warren Hutcherson (“The Bernie Mac Show”) will executive produce the show, which will be written and co-executive produced by Julian Breece (BET’s “Buppies”).

Kelly is no stranger to television.  She previously served as a judge on the U.K. version of “The X Factor” and can currently be seen on the Australian dance competition “Everybody Dance Now.”

She has also appeared on episodes of “American Dreams,” “The Hughleys,” “Girlfriends,” and “Single Ladies.”

In addition to acting, Kelly is recording her fourth solo album, due by the end of the year.  The first single, “Ice” featuring Lil Wayne, was released last month.
