The saga continues. T.I. is back in a halfway house following a brief return visit to prison last week.

The “Whatever You Like” rapper was released from an Arkansas prison on August 31 after serving 10 months behind bars. A tour bus transported him to a halfway house in Atlanta to carry out the remainder of his sentence. But once he arrived, officials hauled him back to prison for violating his transfer furlough by traveling and conducting business with an unauthorized entourage. His reps deny the claims.

T.I.’s attorney, Steve Sadow, tells TMZ, “We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.”

Tameka “Tiny” Cottle lashed out at the “unfair” treatment of her husband following the incident.

“It’s important that the world know how unfair he’s being treated on such minor charges … all because he’s T.I.,” she told TMZ. “There are way more dangerous and carefree [celebrities] that get slapped on the wrist and sent on their way.”

Tip will be reunited with his family later this month.

“T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year,” adds Sadow.
