Despite releasing a freestyle over Rick Ross’ B.M.F. beat that sounded an awful lot like a diss, Young Jeezy surprised fans a few days ago by insisting that he wasn’t sending shots at the Bawse.

The hip-hop world was skeptical and apparently so was Rick Ross, who just released a song called The Summas Mine; a track where he seemingly lashes out at the Atlanta-based rapper or someone who is from Cleveland and proclaims his dominance over the southern rap game.

“You n*ggas ain’t ready, you n*ggas is petty/ You n*ggas spaghetti, bustin’ your meatball, you better be ready,” raps Ross. “You throwin’ up sets but you really from Cleveland, f*ck boy.”

“See I broke it down like a quarter key, b*tch/ I run the South, I’m who you wanna be/ The summa’s mine/ Every time you turn around they spinnin’ one of mine…/ Self-made, you just affiliated/ You’re a waterboy, really you entertainment/ I’m living large, this n*gga been a mark/ They used his credit cards just to get they rental cars.”

In other news, Jeezy released his mixtape, 1,000 Grams, yesterday (August 12) in promotion of his forthcoming album, TM103, which is expected to drop before the end of the year. Ross released his album, Teflon Don, late last month. The LP sold over 150,000 copies in its first week and debuted at the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
