Rapper Rhymefest has decided that he will be running for political office in his hometown of Chicago.
The renowned freestyler, who won a Grammy Award for co-writing Kanye West’s “Jesus Walks,” revealed to SOHH that he would be making a formal announcement around October 15.
Rhymefest, born Che Smith, has yet to reveal what political office seat he is pursuing.
