Remy Ma continued her homecoming tour with a visit to “106 & Park,” her first televised appearance since her release from prison earlier this month. After entering to her song“Whuteva,” the former Terror Squad member sat down with hosts Bow Wow and Keshia Chanté‎ to discuss her six-year prison sentence, division in female rap, and wedding plans.

“It’s just a wonderful thing and I know it’s definitely ablessing from up,” said Remy, who was welcomed with open arms.

Since her return, she has learned to take a selfie, but hasn’t quite mastered it. Her fans have been giving herInstagram and Twitter pointers (she reads all the comments).

She had to rely on others while behind bars, which proved to be a challenge.

“I would say the hardest thing that it took me to get used to was asking people for things because you can’t just go the store, you can’t do anything for yourself,” said Remy.

Her prison experience taught her to be more careful about her decisions.

“One mistake could literally negate every good thing that you’ve ever done in your whole life.”

Remy has expressed interest in working with Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea, but not all of her fellow femcees feel the same camaraderie.

“Some people have a problem as females telling other females when they’re doing something good or even working with them. They feel like it’s competition,” she said. “I’m happy to see any female—any black, young individual or minority doing well, and I would do anything to help that.”

While in prison, she married rapper Papoose. The couple is planning a wedding, but he is more excited than she is and has already picked out songs for the playlist.

“Ya’ll don’t even know the Papoose that I know,” she said. “Our wedding’s probably gonna be like three days long.”

Plus, watch her show love to her peers who held her down while she was away.
