I wanted to write something that is relevant in my life so I decided to write about a choice that I have decided to make (which at times might not be the easiest). I recently touched upon it during a ustream posting that I made while in Charlotte (Hi my NC fam!! LOL :D)
So without further ado my topic is….Celibacy.
I have been celibate for about a year and a half. I decided to abstain not because i think that sex is bad or immoral. Sex is beautiful, fun and an overall intimate experience. I’ve made that decision with the intentions of having more substance in future relationships without its backbone and common ground being sex alone.
After heartbreak and all the pain from a good relationship gone bad, I had to make some groundbreaking changes. Through this time, I have gained more discipline in my life and strength I had no idea I embodied. Keeping myself as a priority and focusing on following my dreams and passions and really succeeding! I sport a promise ring on my left hand as symbolism (no it’s not an engagement ring! LOL!) I am still very single. So as I wait for my Mr. Right, let me ask you……What are you waiting for??
Mucho Love Always,
DiDi 🙂

So inspiring, you are not the only one dealing with this. It’s a great decision, that I will follow through with this time. It’s hard when your celibate but your mate isn’t. In the end it’s about you and your wellbeing, and what makes you feel secure. You inspire me, I think I’m going to go purchase a fat ass ring for myself to sport…yay me!
thank you for honesty, Lav Breign^_^
LOL Thanks for your response.
