Some of music’s most powerful artists and moguls gathered to salute Columbia Records chairman Rob Stringer as UJA-Federation Music Visionary of 2013 at The Pierre hotel in New York City on Friday. Jay-Z suited up and mingled with fellow artists Adele and John Legend and music executives L.A. Reid, Doug Morris, and Clive Davis.

Legend, Adele, John Mayer, Neil Diamond, and Haim posed for a group photo with their boss, while some of his artists and colleagues including Celine Dion, Simon Cowell, Pharrell, Barbra Streisand, and Tyler, the Creator recorded messages for a video tribute.

“If I could, I’d give him a hand job,” said the Odd Future rapper.

According to Billboard, the event raised a record $1.4 million for Jewish communities around the world via ads placed in the event program.

One of Stringer’s biggest stars, Beyoncé, wasn’t in attendance. However, she took out an ad that featured a photo of her and Stringer as Bonnie and Clyde, writing,

“Hit after hit, you have my back.”
