Kanye West celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday (June 8), but he has a present for his fans today.

The multiple Grammy winner will end his self-imposed hiatus and make his big return to the limelight with a performance at the 2010 BET Awards, the network announced today.

Ye will likely perform his take-no-prisoners new single “Power,” the first from his album, Good Ass Job, due in fall.

West joins the list of other confirmed performers, which includes Drake, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Trey Songz, and T.I.

The 2010 BET Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, will air live on June 27 at 8pm EST.
