Family and friends gathered to say farewell to Kile Glover, Usher’s 11-year-old stepson who tragically passed away from injuries sustained in a jet ski accident.

Glover, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, was declared brain dead after being struck by a water vehicle while floating in Georgia’s Lake Lanier earlier this month. He was put on life support and passed away on Saturday.

The funeral was held in his hometown of Atlanta on Friday morning, according to TMZ. His grief-stricken mother was photographed as her son was carried out of the church in a white casket to a nearby cemetery.

Friends of the family shared their love.

“Precious Angel❤U are forever loved #RIPKile,” tweeted Monica.

On Friday, Foster thanked all those who sent their condolences.

“I appreciate the hundreds, perhaps thousands of prayers,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful to you guys. Kile was the most fun, creative, sweet, respectful boy.”

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that all donations be made to the Kile Glover Fund at Bank of America.

“Our goal to increase water safety- thru implementing laws, policies & education. Kiles passing will not be in vain, we will see to this,” said Foster.
