J. Cole joined a diverse lineup of artists including Elton John, Queen, and Katy Perry at last night’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. The Roc Nation MC brought his own special guests onstage during his set at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. He was joined by Miguel for “Power Trip” and surprised the audience by performing “Crooked Smile” with TLC for the very first time.
“I just happen to have on this song one of the greatest groups of all time that I grew up listening to and I’m honored to have them on the song, and I’m also honored to have them here with me tonight,” said Cole. “Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise for TLC.”
Chilli and T-Boz took the stage alongside Cole while singing the hook on his empowering anthem, sharing an embrace at the end.
“@JColeNC is tall greatness!!” tweeted Chilli.
The duo’s greatest hits album drops Oct. 15, while their made-for-TV movie CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story premieres Oct. 21 on VH1.
