Did Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon actually tie the knot?

Whitney Houston‘s daughter tweeted a picture of their hands—and their new wedding bands—on Thursday, Jan. 9.

“#HappilyMarried,” she wrote. “SO #Inlove. If you didn’t get it the first time that is.”

The bride, 20, and groom, 24, first announced their engagement during a promo for their short-lived reality series, The Houstons: On Our Own, in October 2012. One month later, Gordon announced it was over.

“Were not engaged or dating,” he tweeted. “Just close like we have always been.”

In July 2013, Brown informed fans that their engagement was back on. “YES, we me nick are engaged,” the aspiring singer wrote on Facebook.

“I’m tired of hearing people say ‘eww your engaged to your brother’ or ‘if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this.'”

She clarified that she and Gordon were not

“real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.” Brown went on to defend their romance, saying, “You may or may not agree with my relationship. You may or may not respect it. Judge me, go ahead. Your opinions are yours and mine are mine. It is my life and not yours. The decisions I make have nothing to do with you.”

Gordon upgraded his love’s custom-made Neil Lane sparkler with two extra bands in September 2013.
