More than 150 of Beyoncé’s young fans were in for a surprise when the singer showed up at the one-year anniversary of Target in East Harlem on Thursday (June 30). Children from local youth groups were learning choreography to her new song “Countdown” before the superstar herself walked onstage. After the shock wore off, they shared a group hug with the pop idol and showed her their new moves.

“I’d like to thank the Boys & Girls Club for coming out. I hope ya’ll had fun learning the choreography to ‘Countdown’ today. I hope you guys enjoy the new album 4,” said a smiling B, who made a surprise visit to a Harlem middle school in May to teach them the dance moves for the “Let’s Move! Flash Workout” campaign.

A deluxe edition of 4 is available exclusively at Target stores featuring six additional songs including “Schoolin’ Life” and “Dance for You.”
