Future lit up the BET Awards, quite literally, with his fiery performance of “Wicked” off his Purple Reign mixtape.

Dressed in a leather jacket, shades, jeans and a bandana around his head, Future Hendrix walked through the smoky stage as flames shot up in the background. The appearance was without bells and whistles—there were no guest artists, or songs other than the one at hand—and Future kept a strictly one-track mind.

Earlier in the night, Future came to the stage to accept the award for Best Group on behalf of himself and Drake for their collaborative album What a Time to Be Alive. He most recently was heavily featured on DJ Esco’s mixtape Project E.T.: Esco Terrestrial, which also included guest appearances from Young Thug, Juicy J, Rich Homie Quan, and more.
