Kanye West is all smiles on the cover of Rolling Stone. After ending his feud with Wiz Khalifa, the hip-hop superstar looks happy as he poses for the magazine’s latest issue, photographed by none other than Tyler, the Creator.
The close-up shot of ‘Ye includes the hilarious question,
“Does he like Mustard?”
Kanye, whose album Waves drops Feb. 11, has shared his admiration for the Odd Future leader in the past. In a 2013 interview with 97.1 AMP Radio, he described Tyler as an
“artist, innovator, and a good mentor.”
Tyler even helped him with some of the “Yeezus Tour” merchandise.
“He came in and was like, these are the principals, because he’s so talented and understands things because he went to film school,” said ‘Ye. “I literally would like email and be like, ‘Can you teach me how to make videos?’ I want to learn.”
The rappers shared the stage during Tyler’s OFWGKTA Carnival in November 2013.
On Tuesday, Kanye clarified that Waves is not
“the greatest album of all time,” just “ONE of the greatest albums.”
“While we love Kanye, and have many mustard-related questions for him, this is not an actual cover of Rolling Stone,” tweeted the magazine.
Kanye responded, writing,
“I bet you this still becomes the cover though,” and started a poll to find out whether it should actually be published.
