Mixtape Download: Fabolous – “Summertime Shootout”

Fabolous has made it his thing to release new material during the holidays. As promised, Loso delivers his conceptual mixtape, Summertime Shootout, on Thanksgiving.

We’ve seen Fab consistently bring quality to these holiday releases (The S.O.U.L. Tape 2 andThe S.O.U.L. Tape 3 were both released around Thanksgiving and Christmas a few years ago), and today shouldn’t be any different.

 

On Summertime Shootout, Loso blends original tracks and remixes. We get his version of popular songs from The Weeknd (“Tell Ya Friends”) and Bryson Tiller (“Sorry Not Sorry”), as well as a remix to LL Cool J’s ’90s hit “Doin’ It” featuring Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz. Other guests include Rich Homie Quan and Dave East.

On Christmas Day, the Brooklyn rapper plans to give fans The Young OG Project 2. It’s the second installment of his album that features his hit singles “Lituation,” “You Made Me,” and “She Wildin.” Before that comes, get into Summertime Shootout by streaming it below.
