Young Thug proves that he’s one of a kind with the bizarre video for “Best Friend” off his upcoming mixtape Slime Season, due later this month. In the wacky clip, which he co-directed, Thugger co-stars alongside multiple versions of himself. In one scene, he’s chauffeuring himself and in the next, he’s pouring lean out of a cup while dancing in the woods. In between, he dons a powdered face and sits down for dinner, where the main course is his head on a platter.

The video confirms The New York Times recent praise of him as “one of hip-hop’s most ubiquitous artists, and easily its most challenging and thrilling.”
