BET helped YouTube sensation Antoine Dodson add about three minutes to his designated 15 minutes of fame last night. Dodson, who became an Internet celeb after his rescue rant about a Huntsville, Ala., rapist on the loose was remixed and auto-tuned this summer, surprised an audience of the rap world’s elite at the 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards last night. He and Michael Gregory — creator of the “Bed Intruder Song” — appeared at the ceremony, much to the delight of the audience. Shots of the crowd reveal more than a few laughing faces — though it doesn’t appear that Keri Hilson was amused. And really, neither was I. It was one of the cornier moments of the night. Looked to me that most of the people doubled over were laughing at Dodson and not with him.

Ummmm… those knee-high shoes and those skin tight pants, we would like to ask you Antoine WTF were you thinking BUUUUUUUUUT we’ll reserve that for BET.  WTF were you thinking BET? Why did you let him perform?
