Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly possibly under the influence in a personal video that was taped just hours before his untimely death.
TMZ has obtained exclusive video of Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly of Kris Kross just hours before the rapper was pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Center on May 1. In the video, an unidentified man begins to videotape several individuals in Kelly’s home before turning the camera on the former So So Def artist.
According to TMZ, the video was filmed around 7:00 AM on May 1, just hours before the 911 call was made from Kelly’s home.
Kelly, who appears to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, attempts to rap along to one of his newer records and even makes reference to “dead bodies” and “dead emcee’s” as he drops a handful of bars.
The video’s release comes just days after new details emerged in the 34-year-old rapper’s tragic death. According to Kelly’s mother, his death was a result of a drug overdose that involved cocaine and heroin.
Kelly passed away last week, just months after he reunited with fellow Kris Kross member Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith on stage at the So So Def 20th Anniversary Concert in Atlanta.
