Trey Songz scores another victory in court.
Last month, the Los Angeles District Attorney said the singer, born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, would not face any felony criminal charges for allegedly striking a woman at a party. Now, the L.A. City Attorney rejected the case due to insufficient evidence, according to TMZ.
For weeks my lawyers & Mgmt have asked me not to comment on this and I initially agreed but this morning I feel that my fam, the women that raised me, my friends & fans especially the youth need to hear from me. I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone’s personal gain

In February, a woman named Andrea Buera claimed Trey Songz assaulted her at a Hollywood party. She alleged that the beating was so bad, she suffered a concussion, reports say. However, Trey’s lawyer Shawn Holley provided multiple witness statements that contradicted Buera’s account.
In March, Songz addressed the allegations on Twitter.
“For weeks my lawyers & Mgmt have asked me not to comment on this and I initially agreed but this morning I feel that my fam, the women that raised me, my friends & fans especially the youth need to hear from me,” he explained. “I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone’s personal gain.”
