With their compilation 20 in stores today, TLC kicked off their release week with a performance on the “Good Morning America” Fall Concert Series.
T-Boz and Chilli staged a dance-heavy medley of their hits including “What About Your Friends,” “Waterfalls,” and “No Scrubs.” They were also joined by the stars of VH1′s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story—Lil Mama, Keke Palmer, and Drew Sidora.
“It’s just like a dream come true,”
said T-Boz of seeing their lives play out on screen.
The best-selling female R&B group of all time also stopped by Power 105.1′s “The Breakfast Club,” where they defended Lil Mama, who crashed Jay Z and Alicia Keys’ performance at the 2009 VMAs.
“She didn’t do a Kanye West. She didn’t go up there and snatch a mic and be disrespectful,” said Chilli, who cast the 24-year-old to play Left Eye. “She was just standing on stage. Who cares? Get over it.”
Once the movie premieres on Oct. 21, she thinks people will look at her differently. “When this film comes out, people are gonna say different things.”
