T.I. has made his fair share of mistakes throughout his life, but he’s using his experiences to help others. During his visit to “Arsenio” on Wednesday, the “House of Lies” star shared his advice for Justin Bieber. The rapper and singer were recently spotted in the studio and club.
“He’s going through a moment right now in his life where all of us as adults have had that, that transitional period wherewe’ve had to evolve from adolescence into manhood,” said Tip, adding, “It was hard enough for me to become a man with $100,000… $100 million, I could imagine the mistakes that could be made.”
He has been able to impart some words of wisdom on the teensuperstar.
“When I speak to him, he listens with an open ear and I just tell him, ‘Everybody’s had that moment where they had to look at themselves in the mirror and say, man, something’s got to change,’” he explained. “It’s not the environment all the time, sometimes it’s me. And he understands. And I just told him, ‘You got to pick and choose your times and moments when you can do what you want to do and do what you have to do.’”
The “youngest OG in the game” was also instrumental in squashing the Rick Ross and Jeezy beef.
“I basically just said, ‘You know, if nothing hasn’t happened that would cause us to not be able to rectify it, let’s rectify it before something happens that would cause us to not be able to rectify it and get back to doing what we do, getting moneyand shining.’”
The rappers put their differences aside and came together on Ross’ single “War Ready.”
“They themselves made the decision to patch it up,” said T.I.
Plus, he hinted that he’s working on a movie with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.
