It seems as though T.I. has hit the ground running since his release from prison. He has a new film and a new album coming out in the same month (August 2010) and now the rapper has just locked down a deal to become the Global Creative Consultant to Remy Martin Cognac.

T.I. will collaborate with Remy Martin on different projects to strengthen the brand and focus on philanthropic works:

“I’ve been a fan of Remy Martin for many years so I’m honored to be working with them as creative consultant,” the Atlanta-native said in a press release. “And now after my trip to Cognac [France], I admire the brand’s genius even more. I’m excited about all the possibilities of this partnership.”

And here’s what a representative from Remy Martin had to say about the partnership with Tip:

“T.I. is a powerful voice in the entertainment world as a recording artist, actor and producer,” Lamar Johnson, Remy Martin’s director of marketing and branded entertainment, added.  ”And Rémy Martin recognizes the similarities between the art of producing fine cognacs and blending music and words to create hit songs. Both crafts demand skill and attention. We are very pleased to partner with T.I. to build upon our successful ‘Things are Getting Interesting’ marketing campaign.”

Diddy’s got Ciroc, Luda’s got Conjure and now Tip’s got himself a deal with Remy Martin. Looks like Hip-Hop is about to own the liquor game!
