Rihanna has tackled the worlds of music and movies. Now the fashionista is foraying into television with her own “Project Runway”-inspired series.

The “We Found Love” singer will executive produce and appear in an original show for Sky Living HD in the U.K. Known worldwide for her bold style, the pop star will search Britain for the next generation of undiscovered designers, with Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts serving as host.

“I’ve always had a great love of fashion,” said Rihanna. “It’s a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I’ve grown into the person and artist I am today.

“I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage. I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show.”

Over the course of 10 weeks, the contestants will be challenged by Rihanna and Roberts to create outfits for musicians and celebrities. For the final task, designers will have the opportunity to dress Rihanna for her Wireless performance in Hyde Park in July.

The untitled competition series will debut this summer. If you think you have what it takes to be part of the show, you can apply online.
