Remy Ma brought “U.N.I.T.Y.” and “shETHER” to Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam.

In the middle of her hit-filled set at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday (June 11), the Bronx rapper delivered one of the event’s most powerful moments, when she unified generations of female MCs on stage.

Remy started by bringing Cardi B out for an amped-up rendition of “Foreva.” Young M.A. (“OOOUUU”) and Lil’ Kim (“Quiet Storm (Remix)”) soon followed with show-stopping performances of their own.

As if that wasn’t enough, Reminisce brought MC Lyte, Monie Love, Rah Digga, and The Lady of Rage to the stage before Queen Latifah performed her classic “U.N.I.T.Y.” single.

But the peace and love of that moment was quickly followed by a war-ready Remy. After her fellow MCs left the stage, the Bronx bomber unleashed “shETHER,” her scathing Nicki Minaj diss track, with her nemesis on the now-infamous Summer Jam screen.

During the performance, Remy stopped the “Ether” instrumental to emphasize her Nicki barbs.

“Some real motherfuckin’ queens just came out here,” she said. “To be the queen of rap, you gotta actually rap / The whole industry know, bitch, your shit is a wrap.” Following her closing line, Remy left the stage with an emphatic mic drop.

As usual, Summer Jam was a star-studded event. It also featured performances by Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Trey Songz, A$AP Rocky, Juelz Santana, 2 Chainz, Quavo, DMX, and Fat Joe. Jidenna, Desiigner, Joey Bada$$, Tory Lanez, Dave East, Lil Yachty, and many more also made appearances.

The night closed with a special tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., who died 20 years ago. The performance was led by his widow Faith Evans, and featured appearances by Lil’ Cease, Total, 112, Ma$e, The Lox, Lil’ Kim, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
