Quavo is working overtime. Fresh off his “Workin Me” video and in between dates on his “Aubrey and the Three Amigos Tour” with Drake, the Migos rapper stopped by Hot 97 to promote his trio of solo tracks.

During his interview with Nessa, he spoke about directing the video for “Workin Me” co-starring Saweetie.

“I ain’t want it to be a model search. I wanted it to be somebody that you can put in the video and tell you, ‘Dang, she really worked you to that spot,’” he said. “She just did an awesome job and she pretty. She’s beautiful, so why not?”

The intimate scenes weren’t a problem for Quavo. “I was comfortable,” he said.

Quavo also reacted to hearing his name on Nicki Minaj’s “Barbie Dreams.”

“Somebody go and make sure Karrueche OK though / I heard she think I’m tryna give the coochie to Quavo,” raps Nicki.

But Quavo was a good sport about the whole thing.

“Yeah, I laughed. It was funny,” he said, revealing that he was caught off guard. “I’m surprised as the rest of y’all.”

But he’s a fan of Nicki’s new album Queen.

“I heard the album before it dropped, but I ain’t hear [‘Barbie Dreams’]. She dope, the album was fire.”

During some downtime from their tour, his YRN crew has been taking on Drake’s OVO in a seven-game series of basketball.

“I don’t want to get into detail on who won ’cause it was kinda controversial,” he laughed. “We had to have a referee on file and shit, so it’s dead serious.”

He also spoke about recording “APESHIT.” The song was originally for Migos’ Culture II, but ended up on Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s Everything Is Love.

“She killin’ it. She doin’ it way better than me. She bringing dance moves,”

said Quavo, who saw the couple perform it live on the “On the Run II” tour.

“I felt like I started sweating. I was just waiting on ‘APESHIT’ the whole time,” he said.

When asked who he wants to write for in the future, he revealed that Rihanna and Shawn Mendes are on his wish list.
