Now that his feud with Drake is seemingly over, Pusha-T turns the spotlight back on Daytona with the dark video for “If You Know You Know.”
The vertical low-fi clip, which premiered via Spotify, finds the G.O.O.D. Music president driving along the highway at night before being stopped by a cop. Soon a second police officer arrives and threatens Pusha with a gun.
“You could never do what I do, boy / Still duckin’ shit that I did, boy,” raps Push. “Ni**as in Paris ‘fore Hit-Boy / This ain’t the same type of hits, boy / Shit can get litter than lit, boy.”
“If You Know You Know” is one of seven tracks off Daytona that were produced by Kanye West. Pusha also appears on Kanye and Kid Cudi’s Kids See Ghosts opener “Feel the Love.”
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Pusha declared his beef with Drake dead.
“It’s all over with,” he said. “I’m ready to be back to the music for real. Just feeding my base, that’s it. That’s the most important thing to me at all times.”
