Happy New Year! The bottles were popping as the stars said goodbye to 2015 and counted down to the new year. From lavish island soirées in Miami (Diddy) to Las Vegas club gigs (Nicki Minaj, J. Cole) to private concerts in Hollywood (Usher), your favorite artists got dressed up and showed out at parties across the country.

A dapper Diddy hosted his annual New Year’s Eve party on Star Island, which was attended by The Weeknd, Sevyn Streeter, Amber Rose, French Montana, Rita Ora, Rick Ross, and Fabolous.

While her boo Meek Mill was in Philadelphia (a judge ordered him to remain there), Nicki Minaj was in Las Vegas hosting a party at Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub. She welcomed the new year by debuting a new honey blonde hairstyle.

Her Young Money labelmate Drake was in Miami performing for friends including 2 Chainz and Mack Maine at E11even nightclub. Drizzy also brought together Lil Wayne and Birdman, who posed for a photo together despite their bad blood.

 

J. Cole was getting lit at LIGHT Nightclub at the Mandalay Bay. He kicked off 2016 by performing songs like “G.O.M.D.,” “Fire Squad,” and “Power Trip.” Bruno Mars was down The Strip at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan bringing in the new year with some “Uptown Funk.”

Usher ushered in 2016 at a private party hosted by Samsung Pay at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. The R&B crooner led a New Year’s countdown and delivered a 90-minute set of hits including “Confessions Part II,” “Yeah!” and “U Remind Me.” He also took the opportunity to debut two brand new songs for partygoers.

 

 

Meanwhile, Beyoncé and Jay Z partied with Marc Anthony in the Dominican Republic, Wiz Khalifa was in Times Square performing his hit “See You Again,” and Iggy Azalea spent a quiet New Year’s Eve with her fiancé Nick Young.

Justin Bieber was joined by “Wild Boy” Machine Gun Kelly at Leonardo DiCaprio’s wild party in St. Barts and a white tuxedo-clad Future raised a Styrofoam cup to 2016 in New York.
