nicki-tow-premiere

Nicki Minaj stepped out to the premiere of The Other Woman at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood on Monday. The rapper-turned-actress flaunted her curves in a cream form-fitting Alexander McQueen gown as she posed with her co-stars Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton.

Nicki makes her big screen acting debut as Diaz’s opinionated assistant Lydia in the romantic comedy, which hits theaters on April 25.

She changed into a Jean Paul Gaultier outfit while attending the after-party with some of her best friends from LaGuardia Performing Arts Center.

On Tuesday morning, Nicki sat down with “GMA” to discuss her preparation for the role.

“I was so nervous,” she admitted. “I felt a lot of pressure ’cause I am sitting this close to Cameron Diaz and I know if I don’t get my lines right, she has to do her lines over. That pressure was scary.”

As part of her overhauled look, she has done away with the wigs and is rocking her natural black hair.

“Before my first album even came out, I said on my third album, I would wear my natural hair,” said Nicki. “I did the wigs, I did the colors, I did the heavy makeup and all that stuff, and now I guess I’m more confident in myself.”

She plans to do more acting, but she’s taking it slow.

“I’m taking baby steps and I’ma keep on taking baby steps.”
