Toni Braxton is gearing up for her new album Sex and Cigarettes with a brand new single, “Long As I Live.”
The love-torn ballad finds the heartbroken songstress lamenting her ex.
“Everybody’s talking about you and her together,” she sings. “How could you do that to me? / Everybody’s talking about all the wonderful things you do with her / Like you used to with me.”
“Long As I Live” is one of several tracks from Sex and Cigarettes that Toni co-wrote and co-produced. The album is also slated to feature a collaboration with Colbie Caillat called “My Heart.”
The long-awaited effort, which also features last year’s “Deadwood,” marks Braxton’s first solo album since 2010’s Pulse. She will head out on a North American tour in support of the album this spring.
Sex and Cigarettes is due March 23 via Def Jam.
