At 6 a.m. today (October 6th), Drake enthusiasts were finally treated to his highly anticipated eighth studio album, titled “For All The Dogs.” This LP’s release came after a series of delays and follows his 2022 album, “Honestly, Nevermind.”

Immediately upon its release, the pre-release single “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA, shot to the top of the charts, marking Drake’s 12th No. 1 on the Hot 100. This achievement tied him for fifth place on the all-time list. In accomplishing this, the Toronto native also moved closer to surpassing Michael Jackson, who currently holds 13 No. 1 singles.

Furthermore, “For All The Dogs” showcases an extensive tracklist of 23 songs and features an array of notable guest artists. These range from past collaborators such as Lil Yachty, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and J. Cole, to new additions like Bad Bunny, Sexyy Red, Chief Keef, Yeat, and Teezo Touchdown.

Simultaneously, the production credits include Drake himself, along with Noah “40” Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, and Noel Cadastre. Additionally, Kevin Durant is acknowledged for his contributions to A&R.
