Nas & Kelis’ Divorce is Final

The epic battle between rapper Nas and singer Kelis is far from over, but at least now both can feel a little relieved because their pending divorce has been finalized.

Back in April of 2009, Kelis filed for divorce from her then husband Nas over irreconcilable differences after being 7 months pregnant with their first child. Since the filing, life has been pure hell for Nas who has been caught up in between child custody issues and child/spousal support payments.

Earlier this month, the poor lad even asked a judge to lower his spousal support payments of $10,000 a month. According to Nas’ lawyer, the rapper makes “substantially less than that a month.”

Well, there is a clear lesson that could be learned from all of this… never love anyone whose milkshake brings all the boys to the yard!!
