As you already know, there have been rumors that Nas was supposed to be on the original version, which is a very loose ode to his “New York State of Mind.” From various interviews, we’ve noticed that Nas has eluded the notion that he was unavailable for the original. I suppose this matters not at this point. All that matters is that  FANS ARE IN FOR A TREAT!
