With his single “Bad” still climbing the charts, Wale drops “LoveHate Thing,” the second single off his third album The Gifted. The MMG rapper rhymes over a soulful beat, which features vocals from Sam Dew and was produced by Dew, Stokley, and Tone P.

The song is indicative of his upcoming album.

“It’s gonna have one sound. It’s very, very soulful,” he previously told Mina SayWhat on Power 99. “It’s a little nostalgic, a little vintage, but the sounds will make you feel on this album.”

He received a positive response from his fans.

“Wow. So much love for the new single . I appreciate this more than y’all know #lovehateTHING,” tweeted Wale.

The Gifted is due June 25.
