All eyes are on Angel Haze. The 21-year-old Brooklyn rapper has been making a name for herself with her EPs Reservation and Voice. On her latest mixtape Classick, the ferocious femcee flows over Lupe Fiasco’s “Bitch Bad,” Missy Elliott’s “Gossip Folks,” Jay-Z’s “Song Cry,” Lauryn Hill’s “Doo Wop (That Thing),” and Eminem’s “Cleaning Out My Closet,” on which she vividly recounts being raped at 7 years old.

“Really, really explicit and probably the realest song I’ve ever recorded,” she says of the latter.

Angel’s debut album will be released on Universal Republic.
