Megan Thee Stallion Takes to IG Live to Discuss the Shooting Incident

Megan Thee Stallion is recalling the “worst experience” of her life.

The Houston rapper returned to Instagram Live on Monday for the first time since the shooting involving Tory Lanez earlier this month. During the 10-minute livestream, an emotional Meg recounted the traumatic night where she was shot multiple times in the feet.

“I was shot in both of my feet and I had to get surgery to get the bullets taken out—and it was super scary,” she said as she wiped away tears. “It was super scary. It was just the worst experience of my life and it’s not funny.”

The 25-year-old described the incident as the “worst experience of her life.” While recalling the trauma, Megan had to pause to gather herself as tears began to well up in her eyes. “Oh Lord, I didn’t think I was gonna cry,” she commented. “I had to get surgery. It was super scary. It was the worst experience of my life, and it’s not funny. It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to go and start making up fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on anybody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do s**t.” #HHUCIT @theestallion

She also addressed the various reports claiming to know what went down. “I see a lot of people painting fake ass narratives and making up stories and all this other wack ass shit,” said Meg before thanking her supporters, “but I also see a lot of people that have been like very supportive and I just really appreciate that.”
