Megan Thee Stallion candidly admits in her new documentary, In Her Words, that when Gayle King questioned her about having a sexual relationship with Tory Lanez, she didn’t tell the truth, feeling the topic was “irrelevant” to discussing the shooting incident.
“Yes, bitch. I lied to Gayle King, bitch. First of all, I ain’t know that bitch was even finna ask me about that shit. I thought we was gonna talk about this shooting,” Megan explained. “Why is you asking me about fucking Tory? That’s not what this is about. Even if I was … I fucked that nigga like once, maybe twice on a drunk night. You kept catching me out of my fucking mind.”
Lanez has since referenced the original Gayle King interview in his appeal, noting “previous false statements made by Megan,” according to TMZ. However, Megan did later confirm in court that they had a brief sexual relationship, which may diminish the relevance of the initial statement in the appeal.
In response, Gayle King shared her thoughts on Instagram, saying,
“Hey, I’m just sitting here minding my own business. People are reaching out to me, saying, ‘Hey Gayle, Megan Thee Stallion just called you a bitch.’ I know you’re expecting me to… maybe you’re thinking I have something negative to say. I do not. I have nothing but great, great love and respect for Megan Thee Stallion.”
