Make way for Mimi. “American Idol’s” newest judge was back in front of the lens shooting a video for “Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” in New York over the weekend. The anthemic track, which was produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, is the first single off her upcoming album and features Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Actor Eric West, who co-stars in the clip, described it as having a 1960s vibe.

Mariah posted the first photo from the set and teased of more goodies to come this week.

“On the set of the TRIUMPHANT (Get ‘Em) video shoot,” she tweeted. “Get ready for a triumphant week, we have surprises every day!”

The pop diva, who will be honored at the BMI Urban Awards in September, penned the track during a tumultuous time.

“I wrote TRIUMPHANT when I was going through a difficult time & it helped me get through it,” she said earlier this month. “When u hear it, pay attention 2 the lyrics #WIN.”

“Triumphant” is set to premiere in early August. In the meantime, a low quality snippet of Rick Ross’ verse has surfaced online. Listen below.
