This past Wednesday, pop sensation Lady Gaga was labeled the world’s most powerful celebrity in Forbes magazine’s annual ranking of showbiz superstars.

The singer and fashion icon dethroned long-time list-topper Oprah Winfrey, thanks to her massive social media following, which also includes 32 million Facebook fans, 1 billion YouTube views and a string of commercial tie ups to boost make-up, cameras and smartphones – -not to mention she earned a whopping $90 million dollars thanks to her lucrative world tour.

Oprah dropped to second on the list, just ahead of teen pop phenom, Justin Bieber, 17.

Rock gods U2 claimed fourth place on the list, followed by singer Elton John, golfer Tiger Woods and country music star Taylor Swift. Bon Jovi, Simon Cowell and basketball star Lebron James rounded out the top ten.
