Kanye West will be dropping a new album this year. The rapper has postponed his Australian tour, so that he can focus onrecording the follow-up to Yeezus.

“The Yeezus Tour” was set to kick off in Australia on May 2, but Roc Nation announced on Tuesday that it has been postponed so West can finish his new album, which will arrive this year.

“Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly-anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia,” said Roc Nation in astatement.

The tour has been rescheduled from May to September 5-15. Alltickets for the original shows will be honored for the new dates.

Kanye has a busy summer ahead. In between his time in the studio, he will walk down the aisle and wed Kim Kardashian.
