“Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Kandi Burruss has suffered yet another huge blow from someone close to her.  After losing her fiance, A.J. Jewell recently, to sickle cell, A.J.’s 15-year-old daughter, Asheley Jewell, was shot in the head over the weekend.

A 15-year-old Stone Mountain girl Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burress’ stepdaughter was in critical condition Monday at Grady Memorial Hospital. Asheley Jewell was riding in a car with friends Saturday night when police say someone from another vehicle opened fire.

Investigators said Jewell was riding in a car with friends on Old National Highway when another vehicle started chasing the car. Someone in the vehicle opened fire on the car Jewell was riding in, shooting the teen in the back of the head.

Jewell was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said road rage may be a possible motive in the case.

Jewell is the daughter of the late A.J. Jewell, the man who died after a fight outside an Atlanta strip club. Jewell was the one-time fiancé of Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member, Kandi Burruss.
