Who said Hip-Hop wasn’t educational?

Most of the time when substitutes come to teach a class, all hell breaks loose. Not so much here. Weeks ago, news emerged that Jim Jones would be taking his talents to the classroom where he would, at least for a day, be Professor Capo. As you can see, Jimmy came through on his word and all signs point to a successful academic outing.

The man who had the world “ballin’” some four years ago stopped by at a high school in Buschwick Brooklyn. What Jimmy spoke about proceeded to keep their interest. Dame’s homie spoke for two hours on the music business: the good, the bad and the ugly.

Regardless of what your personal feelings are towards Jim, kudos have to be thrown his way. For a genre that always seems to be in the negative light for its mistakes, let’s see how many outlets give this some coverage. -Karen Civil
