Jay-Z has vowed never to use the word “b***h” in his songs in order to maintain the innocence of his newborn daughter Blue Ivy.
The hip-hop mogul has used the word in most of his songs and has even referred to wife Beyonce as a “b***h.” However, after watching his first child enter the world, Jay seems to have a different outlook on life and says he will never use the word again.
“Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich, I didn’t think hard about using the word ‘b***h,” he writes in the heartfelt poem to Blue.
“I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it. I never realized while on the fast track that I’d give riddance to the word bitch, to leave her innocence in tact.”
Jay also reveals his extremely protective nature towards his daughter, adding:
“No man will degrade her, or call her name. I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. I wish you wealth, health and insight. Forevr young you may pass. Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.”
Do you think Jay will be able to stay true to his word?
