Jay-Z and his partners attend a media briefing on the possible redevelopment of Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Hip Hop mogul Jay-Z is continuing to make moves in the sports industry and his latest possible venture involves the 40-year-old arena that is Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. According to The Huffington Post, the rapper and his partners took part in a meeting with various members of the media this week and presented four renovation proposals for the Uniondale, New York arena.

Located in Long Island, just outside of New York City, Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum is currently home to the New York Islanders although the team will be heading to Brooklyn in 2015.

On top of this latest venture, Jay-Z is also heavily known for his involvement in the opening of Barclays Center in Brooklyn and also recently launched Roc Nation Sports.

Despite his various endeavors in the sports world, Jay-Z has still managed to find time to drop the occasional record. Last month he released the Swizz Beatz-produced “Open Letter” and earlier in the week he treated fans to “$100 Bill,” a song featured on The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
