All-Stars, TV stars and superstars combined forces Saturday to try to make a difference in the lives of Dallas-area youth.
Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star LeBron James and rapper Jay-Z tried to convey to kids in Dallas Elevators, a local program that mentors youth.
“It’s about education,” Jay-Z said. “We don’t know what’s going to happen next in the world.”
The two led a private mentoring session at the East Dallas Boys & Girls Club. In comments to the news media beforehand, the stars credited their families for inspiring them.
“We can give you a blueprint,” James said on how to find passions. “But you can’t instill it.” -Jay-ZWorld
