Yesterday, the Worldwide Leader In Sports announced that they’ll be one of the first to create an entire network devoted to 3D sports coverage called ESPN 3D. The network is planning to test out their 3D coverage over the course of the next year with more than 85 live sporting events in 3D, from the opening match of the 2010 FIFA World Cup this summer to the 2011 BCS National Championship Game,.
Oh, and Vizio just announced that they’re dropping a few impressive 3D-ready TVs––including a 47-inch set for just $1,999––in August. Get your shades ready, people
