Drake shouldn’t have to worry about a back-up plan, but if he should ever decide to leave the rap game, he already has a plan B.
The 23-year-old Canadian, who picked up two trophies at last weekend’s JUNO Awards, is taking his time to ensure that his debut album Thank Me Later solidifies his hip-hop career.
“I think that between myself and Lil Wayne, we make timeless music so I know that it will last for a while,” he told The Vancouver Observer.
But before he became known for his rapping, the Young Money star got his first break acting as Jimmy Brooks on The N’s “Degrassi: The Next Generation” and plans to return to his craft at some point.
“When the time is right, I’ll definitely go back to acting,” he said. “It’s a passion of mine.”
