Just days after the launch of Revolt TV, Sean “Diddy” Combs plugged his new music network during his appearance on Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Fresh from happy hour at the bar, the music mogul spoke about his dream to become the first African-American owner of an NFL team and why Revolt fills a void.

“Music has been homeless for a while. Since a lot of the music channels starting going to reality TV, they took the focus off of music,” said Diddy, who used to have his own reality shows on MTV. “We’re gonna become the ESPN of music.”

Jimmy asked whether he sided with him or Kanye West in their public feud.

“I was team Kanye. I’m sorry,” admitted Puff, adding, “I just hope you don’t make fun of me like that.”

They also revisited his “No Shirt Sean” policy from his appearance in March.

“We had a little delay in the release, so we decided that we was gonna push our release,” he said of his goal to get in shape by June.

He has deferred it until April 2014.

“It’s been harder than I thought it would be,” he confessed.

Diddy, who was named the wealthiest artist in hip-hop by Forbes, also plugged his Ciroc vodka. When Kimmel asked if he’s become richer than fellow mogul Jay Z, he replied,

“Nobody’s richer than Jay Z.”
