Diggy Simmons returned to his hometown to celebrate his 17th birthday and the release of his debut album Unexpected Arrival with a show at New York’s Highline Ballroom on Monday night. His JetSetters lined the streets to get a glimpse of the hip-hop prodigy, as family members including his parents, grandmother, and siblings congratulated him backstage.

He performed new songs off the album for the first time and handed out roses to his female fans, who sang “Happy Birthday” to him. Jeremih also stopped by to join him on their collaboration “Do It Like You.”

“I’m super thankful and I just feel blessed to have everybody all in one place here for me,” said a humble Diggy.
